Where Does Your Donation Go? WHAT YOUR MONEY CAN BUY!

$5,000 will assist with burial costs for three people or pay for treatment for forty adults
$2,500 will assist with burial costs for two people or pay for treatment for twenty adults.
$1,000 will cover treatment costs for eight adults for one year.
$500 will pay for education and necessities for six children for one year.
$150 will pay for one year of ARV treatment and medical care for an adult.
$100 will buy infant formula for ten babies.
$75 will pay for one child’s education and supplies for one year.
$50 a month will pay for HIV education, and testing supplies.
$15 a month can buy one dose of antiretroviral drugs for an HIV positive mother and child.

You can help, Advantage Foundation   fight HIV/ abject poverty, limitation of life chances and the spread of sexually transmitted infections, especially HIV/AIDS, by bringing access to effective reproductive and sexual health care (including family planning services) to the people in need.

The Monthly Pledge Program is a way for you to make a monthly financial commitment to the well being of the South African people.  Sustained long term health, educational and other projects can help fight HIV/AIDS and restore the people’s well-being. We rely on donors making long term commitments because of the stability of broad-based grassroots financial support which enables us to take on vital programs such as Burial Program, and Orphan Support. Cars 4 Causes will handle the paperwork, title change, pick up and sale of the car. You may be eligible for a tax deduction for the full Blue Book value of the car. Bank wire transfers - Wire transfers are useful for moving funds rapidly and securely. You will typically incur a $20-$40 bank fee for sending us a wire, while Advantage Foundation will have to pay an additional $10 to receive it. Transfer stock - You receive a tax deduction and offset capital gains taxes when you give stocks that have appreciated in value. Consider donating stocks that do not meet your criteria for social responsibility and we will convert them into positive action.
Bequest - When preparing or revising your will, you can make a lasting gift to IHC/Advantage Foundation by designating it as a recipient of part of your estate.
Trusts - Certain trust actions may reduce your taxes now or in the future, while supporting IHC/Advantage Foundation. We can work with you and/or your financial advisor to set up such an arrangement.
Real estate and other property - You may donate any properties, residences, or even a vacation home, while retaining the right to use it during your lifetime. Gifts of real estate to IHC/Advantage Foundation can help you avoid eventual capital-gains or estate taxes as well as conserve the property while ensuring it's use for your future generations.
Life insurance, IRAs or pension plans - You may list IHC/Advantage Foundation as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, IRA, or pension plan. This affords tax advantages and allows you to give a larger gift than you might otherwise be able to.
Memorial - You may honor a friend or a loved one with a memorial gift that can act on his or her beliefs. IHC/Advantage Foundation will use it to assist South Africans through medical care, educational and other programs. To do so, simply let us know by including a note with your payment.
Take advantage of employer matching funds - If your employer has a policy of matching charitable contributions your donation to IHC/Advantage Foundation will automatically increase.
In-kind gifts - Goods and services, such as office equipment, printing, design capacities, photography, and other professional expertise can be extremely valuable to IHC/Advantage Foundation grantees. We cannot, unfortunately, generally receive goods to ship overseas. If in doubt, drop us a line.
